Public Speaking
I believe the best speaking engagements are both educational and entertaining. Whether I'm moderating a panel, interviewing an author, delivering a keynote, emceeing an event, or speaking to a room full of writers, my goal is to share meaningful insights while keeping the conversation lively, accessible, and audience-focused. I especially enjoy championing writers and helping audiences connect more deeply with books, publishing, and the creative process. I also regularly speak in academic and professional settings and welcome invitations for select podcast appearances.

I am the Executive Director of WriterFest Nashville, the only annual conference for writers of book, song, and screen. My work through WriterFest is all routed through the WriterFest website.
As a co-founder ofAmi McConnell Literary Agency, I serve my team of agents and traditionally published clients. Through the agency we consult with hybrid and self-published authors, as well as traditional authors who we do not represent.
